Lumbini - a place in the South-Western Terai of Nepal, evokes a kind of holy sentiment to the millions of Buddhists all over the world-as do the Jerusalem to Christians and Mecca to Muslims. Lumbini is the place Lord Buddha -the apostle of peace and the light of Asia was born in 623 B. C., Located in the flat plains of south-Western Nepal and the foothills of Churia range, Lumbini and its surrounding area is endowed with a rich natural setting of domesticable fauna and favourable agricultural environ. Historically, the region is an exquisite treasure-trove of ancient ruisn and antiquities, dating back to pre-Christian era. The site, described as a beautiful garden in the Buddha’s time still retain its legendary charm and beauty. To the mere 12 miles north of Lumbini lies the dense and picturesque sal-grove.

For centuries, Buddhists- all over the world, knew that Lumbini where the Lord was born is somewhere around. The descriptions of famous Chinese pilgrims (of ancient times) Huian Tsang and Faeihan indicated to this area-saying ‘Lumbini-where the lord was born is a piece of heaven on earth and one could see the snowy mountains amidst a splendid garden-embedded with stupas and monasteries!
 

Day 01:	Arrive at Kathmandu Our representative meets you at Kathmandu International Airport and escorts you to the hotel for overnight stay. Nepal Tour Package begins.
Day 02:	Kathmandu On day 02 of your tour to Nepal, in the morning, leave for a sightseeing tour of Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl, Temple House of Kumari and the local bazaars. Also visit Swayambunath. In the afternoon, go to Patan and visit the old Newar city, Durbar Square, Golden Gate, Temple of Teleju, statue of Yogendra Malla, other temples, curio shops and bazaars. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03:	Kathmandu - Pokhara In the morning, drive to Pokhara. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, explore Pokhara. Sightseeing of Devis Falls and Lake Phewa. You can also go for a boat ride or visit the island temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04:	Pokhara - Tansen In the morning, leave for Tansen. On arrival, check in at the hotel for overnight stay. Day 04 of Nepal Tour Package ends
Day 05:	Tansen - Lumbini On the 5th day of tour to Nepal, in the morning, drive to Lumbini. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later enjoy sightseeing of the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06:	Lumbini - Chitwan In the morning, drive to Chitwan. On arrival, check in at the resort. In the afternoon, tour the Tharu Village and witness the cultural performance here. Overnight at hotel. Day 06 of tour package for Nepal ends.
Day 07:	Chitwan As part of your travel to Nepal on day 07, there is an elephant ride for a 1 ½ hour jungle safari. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08:	Chitwan - Kathmandu In the morning, drive to Kathmandu. On arrival, check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09:	Kathmandu There is a morning excursion to Bhadgaon, Bodhnath and Pashupatinath. You also get to visit the ancient Gateway, Durbar Square, the royal residential quarter of Bhupatindra Malla, Temple of Nyatapola in pagoda style and other temples. Later, visit Bodhnath. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:	Depart Kathmandu Reach the Kathmandu airport to board flight for home destination. Nepal Tour Package ends.
