Overview

Dzongu, the official reserve for Lepcha people is bounded by Teesta River in the south-east, Tholung Chu River in the north-east and by rising mountains in the West. Dzongu offers the best of Sikkim – unexploited and serene. The place appeals to visitors who simply want to enjoy nature. It is a beautiful land of dense forest area and glacial rivulets that nurture both the human and natural habitation around.

EXPLORE HIDDEN DZONGU IN NORTH SIKKIM

Day 01: GANGTOK – DZONGU.

Morning after breakfast drive to Dzongu is a triangular region in North Sikkim. It is bounded by the Teesta River in the south-east, Tholung Chu River in the north-east and by mighty mountains in the west. It borders the Kangchenjunga Biosphere Reserve. Enroute visit Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok,overnight stay at Dzongu.

 

 

Day 02:DZONGU SIGHTSEEING.

Morning after breakfast we shall visit Dzongu Village,River side walk,Ligthem Monastery,Hot Spring, overnight stay at Dzongu in Homestay.

 

 

Day 03: DZONGU – GANGTOK.

Morning after breakfast drive back to Gangtok, enroute visit Phodong Monastery,Phensong Monastey,Seven sister waterfalls.
