Trip Itineraries

Sikkim Darjeeling Tour

Day 1 Bagdogra – Darjeeling (2 Nights) Tour guests will arrive at Bagdogra Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Darjeeling – a scenic hill town known for its lush tea gardens, breathtaking mountain vistas, and cool climate. Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own. The transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the (J&L) guests. In the evening, we enjoy a short Meet & Greet session.

Day 2 Darjeeling Today early morning we visit Tiger Hill to enjoy a mesmerizing sunrise on the Kanchenjunga Ranges. Followed by a visit to Batasia Loop, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Zoological Park, Himalayan Tibet Museum and Tenzing Rock. Later we visit the Tea Estate where we get to click photos in the tea garden as well as taste local Darjeeling Tea. In the evening, we enjoy some free time for shopping.

Day 3 Darjeeling – Pelling (2 Nights) Today we proceed to to Pelling - a beautiful town in Sikkim with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Day 4 Pelling Today we explore the city of Pelling. We visit Glass Skywalk and Chenrezig statue. We enjoy a walk in Darap Village – home to Limboo Community to witness their culture and lifestyle. Later we visit Khecheopalri Lake and Pemayangtse Monastery.

Day 5 Pelling – Namchi – Gangtok (3 Nights) Today we proceed to Namchi to visit the Chardham Temple – also known as Siddheshwar Dham where we can witness one of the tallest statue of Lord Shiva and Samdruptse Monastery to view the statue of Guru Padmasambhava which has a height of 135ft. Later we proceed to Gangtok - a city situated amidst natural beauty.

Day 6 Gangtok Today we explore Gangtok city, we visit Ranka Monastery, Banjhakri waterfall, we enjoy a Rope Way Ride which gives us a splendid view of Gangtok city, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and Dordul Chorten Stupa. Later we visit the Flower exhibition centre, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok and Tashi View Point to capture amazing views of Himalayan ranges. In the evening we enjoy the local folk dance.

Day 7 Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Gangtok Today we visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – a holy shrine honouring Indian army soldier, folk hero and saint Baba Harbhajan Singh. Later we visit Tsomgo Lake – a high altitude scenic lake considered to be sacred by the Sikkimese. In the evening, we have some free time to explore the nightlife and casinos of Gangtok on our own. Note: Tsomgo Lake is situated at a high altitude, which may pose challenges for guests with certain health conditions. If you have pre-existing health issues, we strongly recommend consulting with your doctor before planning your visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Day 8 Gangtok – Tista River Rafting – Darjeeling (1 Night) Today we proceed to Darjeeling. En route we visit Tista River for a thrilling experience of white water rafting. On arrival we have some free time for exploring the surroundings.

Day 9 Darjeeling – Bagdogra – Departure to Hometown It’s time now to say goodbye, Phir Milenge! Let’s stay in touch with each other through email, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, etc. and meet again on yet another memorable Veena World tour. See you all! Tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time and start their journey back home. Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will leave the group after the scheduled program. The transfer charges to reach their respective airport/cruise/rail/bus terminal will be borne by the (J&L) guests. Tour concludes.
