Itinerary
Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). Meet our representative and drive to Yakten, a picturesque virgin village located at 6,000 ft in East Sikkim. Surrounded by lush green fields and rare Himalayan orchids, Yakten offers authentic homestay experiences. Overnight stay at Yakten homestay.
Morning check-out from Yakten and drive to Gnathang Valley, also known as the “Ladakh of the East.” Located at 13,000 ft, the valley is surrounded by snow-clad hills with visible views of Chinese Watch Towers at Jelep La. En route, stop at Rongli for permits. Overnight stay at homestay in Gnathang.
After breakfast, take an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake), a glacial lake set amidst pristine landscapes. Continue to Baba Mandir, dedicated to Captain Harbhajan Singh, and visit Kupup, home to the world’s highest golf course. Return to Gnathang for an overnight stay.
Early morning visit Thambi View Point (11,200 ft), offering panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the famous zig-zag roads of Zuluk. Later drive to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for onward journey with memories of a lifetime.
