Overview
This 11-day journey covers the best of Sikkim and Darjeeling. Starting from Gangtok, you’ll explore local monasteries, waterfalls, and viewpoints before venturing north to Lachen, Gurudongmar Lake, Lachung, and Yumthang Valley. Continue to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and optional Nathula Pass. The trip then takes you to serene Ravangla, the monasteries and lakes of Pelling, and finally, the colonial charm of Darjeeling. A perfect blend of culture, adventure, nature, and Himalayan grandeur.
Itinerary
Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station. Meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok (4,715 ft). A city of monasteries, orchids, and butterflies. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, drive to Lachen (8,600 ft). En route visit Tashi View Point, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, Chungthang (confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu). Arrive in Lachen by evening. Overnight stay at Lachen.
After breakfast, excursion to Gurudongmar Lake (17,200 ft), Thangu (13,000 ft), and Chopta Valley (13,200 ft). Return to Lachen for lunch, then drive to Lachung. En route visit Twin Falls and Bhim Nala Falls. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Note: Not advisable for guests above 60 with heart/breathing issues or children below 5 years. Foreign nationals are not allowed.
After breakfast, excursion to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), also known as the “Valley of Flowers.” Visit the hot springs. Optional visit to Zero Point, Katao, or Sanglaphu Lake (extra cost). After lunch, drive back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and Baba Mandir, dedicated to Captain Harbhajan Singh. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, drive to Ravangla (8,000 ft). Visit the Buddha Park (Tathagata Tsal). Continue to Pelling. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Full-day sightseeing: Pemayangtse Monastery, Khecheopalri Lake, Chenrezig Statue & Sky Walk, Bird Sanctuary, and Rimbi Falls. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Morning drive to Darjeeling, “Queen of the Hills.” Evening free to explore. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early morning visit Tiger Hill (sunrise over Kanchenjunga), Ghoom Monastery, and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, city tour including Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed Sundays), and Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast, transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
